Located high up on the hillside with stunning views over the surrounding vineyards and the river Douro. Though the drive might be slightly stressful, the stay is absolute relaxation. Extremely peaceful and quiet with only 4 rooms. Tasty wine of the winery can be enjoyed in a special tasting or by glass as you please.

The warm welcome, breathtaking views, and serene atmosphere made it truly unforgettable. The attention to small details was evident throughout, and the dinner on the terrace was a highlight - we highly recommend order a dinner during your booking. Since there are only 4 rooms you can expect only a few people around, not overcrowded pool area and have a sunset stroll thru the wineyard. A small snacks and drinks are available free of charge and also fridge full of drinks for extra (very convenient) cost. And they have a superfriendly dogs! A perfect blend of tranquility and luxury.

We had an absolutely wonderful two nights here. The views of the valley are absolutely stunning! The rooms and grounds are gorgeous. (My only regret was not budgeting more time at the pool!) The included breakfast buffet was fresh and had everything you'd want. Dinner was extra but I highly recommend, because you don't want to miss the sunset. Hosts were fantastic, take a tour while you're there. Honesty bar (wine, port) available 24hrs, as well as fresh fruit and snacks. Honestly, an amazing place. (Note: the drive in is safe, but could be nerve-wracking if you're not used to switchbacks and narrow mountain roads. Personally, I loved it, felt like James Bond...)

A bit adventure to go there and yes you may feel isolated but it's compensated by the view . If you want to have a dinner here, you need to order in advance with them or eat outside . Once you reach the winery you don't want to commute in and out frequently. You may buy some ham and cheese in supermarket for your evening glass of wine. We found this as a best option. Don't be surprised you wake up earlier because of noise from the winery. They start their day to day job earlier (6.15) to avoid high temperature during the day. We have a huge respect to this. Grab you coffee and enjoy the view from the terrace of the villa. We found the place better option for a chill in Douro than small towns like Phinao or Paso . Overall we recommend to go there.
